National Public Service Week (NPSW) will take place this year from June 10 to 16, 2018. This year PSAC has chosen not to boycott the Employer’s events, but instead use those events to highlight the ongoing pay problems by the Phoenix Pay System.
Stickers for members to wear at those events are being developed and will be distributed to PSAC Regional Offices to provide to Locals. Please contact your nearest Regional Office (http://ontario.psac.com/our-organization/staff), to request stickers for your Local members to wear.
By drawing attention to Phoenix at these Employer events we can make a strong statement. To recognize our value for the services we provide to Canadians, the government must do more to rectify Phoenix and properly address the negative consequences our members face.
Until Phoenix is fixed or replaced by a new functioning system and all our members pay issues have been corrected, we will continue to hold this government responsible.
