Together FAIRNESS WORKS! Seminars

Greetings Sisters and Brothers,

The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) is holding “together FAIRNESS WORKS!” Leaders Seminars across Ontario.

The Seminars offer member to member engagement training sessions on how to reach out to members in the workplace. These seminars complement PSAC’s We Are All Affected campaign by building our membership’s connection with their union and the entire labour movement.  

Participants will:

·         Examine the power of listening. Discuss the importance of being listened to when building trust and relationships with members;

·         Learn to create bridges between members’ values and union concerns;

·         Practice listening skills, effective body language and techniques; and

·         Develop a personal toolkit for holding short conversations that allow for ongoing engagement and continued conversations.
