On June 10, 2020, the Ontario government announced that they would be allowing universities to hold classes for the summer term (Ontario Unveils a Plan to Reopen Postsecondary Education). This announcement also revealed that universities will have the option of holding virtual learning in the fall, which many universities have signalled their intention to do so.
Virtual learning will have an impact on our members; on their own studies and their post-secondary employment. Therefore, it is vital that we assess the impacts on our membership and identify any issues arising from this change.
