Education Program in GTA

This learning event is the next step following the We Are All Affected Regional Meeting.  The session is designed so that Campaigners will understand the overall purpose and scope of the current WAAA Campaign and their role in it.  The event will provide skills and knowledge which will assist local campaigners with the task of educating members on the issues which face them with respect to budget cuts, threats to collective agreement provisions and union security, through one-on-one conversations within their local.

Please be advised that this course has been postponed until 2014.  Date still to be confirmed. Bullying is an increasing problem at workplaces across the country. Dealing with workplace bullying is a complex issue and can’t be fully addressed in a 1 day workshop. However, in this time frame participants should be able to get some clarity about the problem, possible solutions, and the union’s role in addressing workplace bullying.
