In less than a year the Progressive Conservative government under Premier Doug Ford has initiated an intense assault on workers and our public services. Some of these attacks include:
• Eliminating important labour legislation and benefits such as paid sick days, $15 minimum wage, equal pay for equal work and scheduling protections for part-time and shift workers, among others.
• Elimination of free tuition for post-secondary education, cuts to OSAP and the conversion of many non-repayable grants to loans with interest.
