Toronto – The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) Toronto Pride Committee will be hosting a discussion panel on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans refugees coming to Canada on World Refugee Day.
El-Farouk Khaki, a Canadian refugee and immigration lawyer, and human rights activist will share his experiences defending Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans refugees. Also on the panel will be Karen Williams-Clarke, the 519 Church Street Community Centre’s LGBT Newcomer Community Services Coordinator, who will speak on the resources and programs available to help LGBT refugees coming to Toronto.
