Rally for Health Care – April 30th at Queen’s Park Greetings,   The Ontario budget has solidified the Progressive Conservative government’s intention to make sweeping cuts to our health care system, while opening the door to privatization and mega-mergers. We cannot let this government get away with these changes. It is clear that the next federal election will be fought out in greater Toronto, with the Conservatives aiming to secure a majority by appealing to seniors and newcomer communities.

 In celebration of Black History Month racialized community and labour organizations (Workers of Colour Caucus - OPSEU, Racially Visible Committee - PSAC, Latin American Trade Unionists Coalition - LATUC, Asian Canadian Labour Alliance - ACLA, Coalition of Black Trade Unionists - CBTU & the Ontario Federation of Labour) are co-sponsoring an event titled "Where is our Obama?" with the objective of mobilizing racialized workers including young workers for the upcoming 2015 Federal Election.
