The major purpose of this course is to provide griever’s union representatives with basic knowledge and skills to work with members and effectively process grievances at the initial stages of the grievance procedure and to mobilize them around workplace problems. In light of such little progress in reaching fairness at the bargaining tables, the PSAC Sudbury Regional Office will be offering Strike Training throughout the North East Region for workers of CFIA, Parks, FB, CRA, and TB. In light of such little progress in reaching fairness at the bargaining tables, the PSAC Sudbury Regional Office will be offering Strike Training throughout the North East Region for workers of CFIA, Parks, FB, CRA, and TB. (BOTH DAYS) This course provides materials to support the Talking Union Basics Kit (TUB), an introductory course for union members. The TUB is an excellent tool for new member/activist orientation to the “why” and “how” of the PSAC, as it provides an historical and structural overview to guide membership participation in their union.
